Lights for video and streaming

amaran

3 angles to test: people on camera for work, the softbox that takes over the room, and the small light owners come back for.

I read 706 comments on six YouTube reviews of amaran lights, plus their live Meta ads.

Three reasons to buy kept coming up: looking good on work calls, wanting soft light without a giant softbox, and owners going back for another amaran. So I made six ads, two for each.

amaran’s live ads speak to creators. The comments show a second crowd: regular workers who are on camera all day. Ads 1 and 2 are for them.

Why it should work
In the comments, regular workers show up next to the creators: someone starting a WFH job that keeps them on camera all day, someone who streams demos for work. A call grid shows the difference in one look and doesn’t feel like an ad.

Every call has one person who looks like they’re in a movie. 🎬 This time, it could be you.

One viewer said it in a YouTube comment: “Soft, flattering light makes such a difference, especially on video calls.”

You don’t have to be a YouTuber to want that. The amaran Verge Max clamps to your desk and gives you soft light from a slim panel, with the controls right on the front. Set it up once and look good on every call.

Your webcam is fine. It just needs better light. 💡

Spec ad for amaran split in two. On the left, a man on a webcam lit by a ceiling light looks tired and shadowed. On the right, the same man is softly and evenly lit by a round amaran Verge Max on a desk arm. Below, the quote I have to essentially stream for corporate demos and this light is awesome.

Why it should work
A real comment from someone who streams corporate demos sums up this buyer: they wanted good light without becoming a content creator. The before-and-after makes the ceiling-light problem impossible to miss. Modeled on an ad that ran for 705 days.

“I have to essentially stream for corporate demos and this light is awesome. I didn’t want to go full youtuber and content creator and having the control on my stream deck is key.” 💡

That’s a YouTube comment from someone with a regular job. And it’s exactly who this light is for.

If you’re on camera for work, your ceiling light is working against you. It throws shadows under your eyes and makes you look tired, even after a full night’s sleep. 😴

The amaran Verge Max sits right at your desk and gives you soft, even light like a softbox, without the bulk.

Look awake on the 9 AM call. ☕

“I have a massive gloriously soft softbox I never use because it literally takes up half my office.” 😂

We’ve all got one of those. A great piece of gear that never gets set up because it’s in the way.

That comment came from someone watching a review of the amaran Verge Max. Their next line: “A flat panel like this would save me so much space.”

The Verge series is made for desks and small rooms. You get soft light like a softbox without the bulk, and the controls are right on the front.

Get your office back and keep the soft light. 💡

Why it should work
Once someone wants soft light at the desk, the next question is how it fits. Four callouts answer it, all from amaran’s own description of the Verge series. Modeled on an ad layout that ran for 1,431 days.

Love the look of a softbox but hate how much room it takes? 🙋

The amaran Verge Max was made for that exact problem: ✅ Clamps right to your desk, with no light stand on the floor ✅ Soft light from a slim panel ✅ Controls on the front, so you never reach behind it ✅ Fits on a small desk

You get the soft, flattering light of a studio setup, and your office stays an office.

Soft light for your desk, minus the giant box in the corner. 💡

The Ace 25c fits in one hand, so the hand does the selling. Four specs answer “will it be bright enough?” before anyone asks. Modeled on an ad layout that ran for 439 days.

The amaran Ace 25c fits in one hand, but it doesn’t act small: ⚡ 32W in boost mode 🔋 4,500mAh battery built in 🔌 Charges over USB-C PD 🌈 Full RGB color

Toss it in your bag for a shoot, light your face on a call, or add a pop of color to your setup.

One owner liked theirs so much they went back for more: “Have one of these myself, love it so much I got another Amaran.”

Pack light. Literally. 💡

Fair warning: amaran lights tend to multiply. 😅

Real YouTube comments from owners: “Have one of these myself, love it so much I got another Amaran.” “I have the P60C and it is my go-to light in many situations.” “I bought the bi-color version of this light and have been very happy with it.”

Start with one Ace 25c. It fits in your hand, charges over USB-C and does full RGB color. Then see how long you can hold out before you get a second. 😉

How I'd test them

  1. Each ad runs against amaran’s best current ad, same daily budget, for 7 days.
  2. The two work-call ads go to a broad remote-worker audience, since amaran’s current ads already cover creators.
  3. I’d judge on cost per purchase if an ad gets 20+ sales, otherwise on cost per add to cart.
